Theta Xi: Delta Chapter

On Saturday, September 30, 15 brothers volunteered to help the Joseph Lee Elementary School and Academy in Dorchester, MA. We worked with
teachers, students, parents, and other volunteers to do some much-needed maintenance on the school’s outdoor classroom. Brothers helped in a variety of ways including weeding, laying mulch, cleaning up trash, and planting flowers. When all was said and done, the children of the Joseph Lee school were left with an amazing place to learn about the natural world that is so hard to come across in the city. This event will hopefully mark the beginning of a lasting relationship between Delta Chapter and the Lee Academy, as the principal was very impressed and has invited us back to help with more academic undertakings at the school.

There will be delicious pastries from Mikes and plenty of coffee and hot chocolate. Make sure you stop by.

No better way to finish the night than a trip to Newbury Street’s J.P. Licks, which features Boston’s best ice cream.
